Shikatani Lacroix Design has designed a winter-themed, holiday décor kit and digital signage content spots for 1,200 TD Bank branches, bringing a consistent and professional look to its holiday décor across the branch network.
SLD was asked to develop a festive, inclusive, non-denominational, and cost efficient holiday décor kit. The branding exercise looked to standardize in-branch merchandising and communication standards for holiday messaging. TD Bank was looking for an easy-to-install kit that allowed for a balance between consistent design with a certain amount of creative liberty for branch staff.
The décor kit included a concierge stand poster that employees could sign, snowflake cling sheets, 3D snowflakes for larger branches, and holiday card sets. Each kit included an instruction manual with guidelines and options for décor placement within the branch, with the option to purchase additional décor.
In addition to the kit, SLD developed holiday themed digital signage content spots (in English, French and Chinese) that could be used in playlist rotation for the 500 digitally-enabled branches. The purpose of these spots is to provide emotional imagery and messaging surrounding the holiday season while remaining non-denominational. The spots feature an emotive lifestyle scene and rich animated content to help bring the holiday season to life within the branch.
This TD holiday program was the first time TD attempted to standardize its holiday décor across all of its branches. The holiday décor will be on display until January 31, 2017, so be sure to stop by your local TD Bank branch.
