SLD has been awarded Silver at the 2025 International Design Awards (IDA) for its transformative work on the Chongqing Rural Commercial Bank (CQRC) Flagship. This recognition underlines the project’s innovation and design excellence on an international level.
Located in Chongqing’s Jiefangbei district, the CQRC Flagship spans three storeys and over 16,000 square feet. The project was conceived as a contemporary banking environment that moves away from traditional transactional layouts in favour of a more open, intuitive, and customer-centric experience. The design is informed by the philosophy of Qi, emphasizing natural flow and spatial continuity.
The IDA Awards were founded in 2007. Created to provide a platform for both emerging and established designers, the program emphasizes design that balances creativity with real-world application. Each year, submissions from across the globe are reviewed by an international jury of industry professionals.
