Shikatani Lacroix Design (SLD) has been awarded Silver at this year’s Shop! Design Awards for our work with WSS (Warehouse Shoe Store).

Often referred to as the “Oscars of Retail Design,” this honor recognizes exceptional achievement in spatial innovation, visual storytelling, and customer-centric design.

Trusted as a neighborhood staple for top athletic and lifestyle footwear, WSS partnered with SLD to scale its footprint into new markets. The award-winning design elevates the product assortment through streamlined store navigation, clear zoning, and high-impact signage. Local identity remains front and center with customized artwork, a localized area map framing the checkout, and dedicated community messaging, ensuring the store feels uniquely tied to its roots.
