Wireless Wave was one of the first Canadian telcos to offer a provider-agnostic concept that allowed consumers to match their ideal device with a plan that met their needs. Their brand promise was to offer the best advice on mobile to ensure consumers could get exactly what they wanted: the latest tech consumers craved, with the all the best features and accessories. But their store design was dated and didn’t reflect expertise. And technology brands like Samsung and Apple were raising the bar on expectations for how their products were displayed. Our goal was to create a store experience that inspired confidence in staff expertise and featured the hottest new technology in an exciting way.

The new Wireless Wave store experience was modern and clean, using the brand blue strategically against a bright, white backdrop. Tech brands were featured in a sleek custom fixture that allowed the product to shine and allowed for ample brand storytelling, while keeping a consistent look-and-feel for Wireless Wave. Accessories were featured both in branded zones as well as grouped together to allow for flexibility with partners and an easier shop. A central discovery aisle allowed for product testing, leading back to a comfortable zone at the back of the store for consultation and sales. Zig-zag lighting as a custom feature brings a sense of dynamic energy without being heavy handed. The concept was rolled out to mall and kiosk formats across the country.
