SLD Recognized at 2020 PAC Global Leadership Awards

PAC Packaging Consortium has announced the winners of their annual Global Leadership Awards, and SLD is honored to have been awarded Best in Class: New Brand, Food & Beverage. The award is in recognition of the packaging designed for Miss Vickie’s Signatures, a new collection of gourmet potato chips that was launched in the summer of 2019.

“We are beyond excited to win Best in Class at this year’s Global Leadership Awards,” says Jean-Pierre Lacroix, President of SLD. “The Signatures line was a treat to work on because the design had to fit within the Miss Vickie’s brand while also having its own distinct identity.”

Though the Miss Vickie’s wordmark makes the Signatures line instantly recognizable, the elegant black packaging and expertly staged photography convey the luxurious and unique flavors found within. Gold accents further the premium quality of the line, while hints of color that are distinct to each flavor allow for easy product distinction.

“It is always an exciting opportunity to work with a brand as respected as Miss Vickie’s, and to take home a global award is great validation for the effort that our team put into this project,” says Lacroix.

The PAC Global Leadership Awards are an annual global packaging competition with the purpose of celebrating “craftsmanship in brand packaging design with a vision to showcase the power of packaging.” SLD has previously won PAC Awards for Crave, LivRelief, Montellier, McCain Marché and Smartfood.
