Game Day…
Everyday
Creating a place where fans of all ages can enjoy the excitement and connection.
Think
The Roughriders came to us with a game plan bigger than a retail redesign. They came with a brand ambition. The goal was to build a national sports experience that courts a younger fan base and capitalizes on the growing lifestyle market around team fandom.
At 2,044 square feet inside Midtown Plaza Saskatoon, the space had to punch above its size, catch the eye of mall traffic and let the brand tell its story through product. It also had to work as a hub for Riders fans to celebrate and belong. That meant being flexible enough to host exclusive events, bold enough to stand as a lifestyle destination, and of course, stocked with the merchandise fans wanted.
Blink
We designed the Riderville store to feel like game day, every day. The layout balances lifestyle and sports apparel with intention. Each has its own moment within one connected experience.
The vibe is aspirational and open. Rider green stripes frame the entryway, setting the tone from the start. Behind the cash desk, a digital countdown clock brings the stadium buzz into the store, even between matchups. That energy carries through to the change rooms, where wall decals feature the Roughriders’ rallying slogans.
The finishes extend the same spirit. Chipboard millwork, inspired by fresh-cut wheat, grounds the space in an indoor-outdoor feel, warmed by the glow of brass fixtures overhead. Above it all, a painted sky ceiling opens things up. At Riderville, the green never goes out of season.
